"ہیپی برتھ ڈے ٹو ممی۔" یہ کہتے ہوئے وہ روشنا سے لپٹ گئی۔ روشنا کی آنکھیں یکدم نمکین پانیوں سے بھر گئی تھیں۔
"شکریہ میری جان!" آنسوؤں کو اپنی ہتھیلیوں سے صاف کرتے اس نے انشو کو خود میں بھیینچا تھا۔
"ممی آپ رو رہی ہیں؟" انشراح نے حیرانگی سے استفسار کیا تھا۔
"یہ تو خوشی کے آنسو ہیں۔" روشنا نے مسکرا کر جواب دیا۔ زیان واصف نے اس روتی لڑکی کو عجیب سی نظروں سے دیکھا تھا۔ چائے کا مگ ڈائننگ پر رکھ کر وہ اٹھ کھڑا ہوا اور ان دونوں کو یکسر نظر انداز کیے پورچ کی جانب بڑھ گیا۔
"ڈیڈی دیکھیں ناں میں ممی کے لیے کیا لائی ہوں۔ ادھر آئیے ناں پلیز۔" انشراح نے ملتجیانہ لہجے میں زیان سے کہا۔
"بیٹا آپ گفٹ اپنی ممی کو دکھاؤ مجھے بزنس ڈنر کے لیے ابھی نکلنا ہے۔ میں ایک منٹ کی بھی تاخیر نہیں کر سکتا۔ اللہ حافظ۔" انشراح کو ہاتھ ہلاتے وہ اپنی گاڑی کی جانب بڑھ گیا۔ جب کہ انشراح اسے دیکھ کر رہ گئی اس کی نظروں میں افسردگی تھی۔
روشنا کا دل چاہا اپنی تمام تر خوشیاں وہ اس پیاری بچی کے نام کر دے۔ اس کی زندگی کا مقصد یہی تو تھا اس کی تمام تر خوشیاں انشو سے ہی تو وابستہ تھیں۔ انشو کا اتر چہرہ دیکھ کر اسے زیان واصف پر بری طرح غصہ آیا۔ انشو کا ہاتھ تھامے وہ صوفے پر براجمان ہوئی اور انشراح کے لائے گئے تحفے کو اس کے سامنے کھولنے لگی۔ انشراح اسے گفٹ کھولتے دیکھ کر خوش ہونے لگی۔ انشو کے لائے رسٹ واچ کو اس نے فوراً پہن لیا۔
"ممی! آپ بہت اچھی ہیں۔" روشنا کی گود میں سر رکھے انشو نے معصومیت سے کہا۔
"آپ نے کس کے ساتھ جا کر یہ گفٹ لیا؟" روشنا نے اس کے بالوں پر ہاتھ پھیرتے نہایت نرمی سے استفسار کیا۔
"اسکول سے واپسی میں، میں نے ڈرائیور انکل سے کہا تھا وہ مجھے لے گئے تھے۔" انشو نے سادگی سے جواب دیا۔
"بیٹا اب اس طرح جانے کی ضرورت نہیں جب بھی کہیں جانا ہو مجھے کہہ دینا میں یہاں تمہارے لیے ہی تو ہوں۔" روشنا نے آخری جملہ نہایت افسردگی سے کہا تھا۔
"ممی آپ کو جلنے کی بو نہیں آ رہی؟" انشو نے ناک سکیڑتے ہوئے کہا۔ روشنا، انشو کو صوفے پر بٹھاتے ہوئے فوراً کچن کی جانب بڑھی۔ پیار سے بنائے گئے پیزا کا حال برا تھا۔ ایسا لگ رہا تھا وہ کوئلے کی کان سے نکل کر آیا ہے۔ بیکنگ ٹرے اوون سے نکالتے روشنا اور انشراح کی ہنسی بے ساختہ تھی۔
"انشراح یہ تو لو۔" روشنا، انشراح کی پلیٹ میں ٹوس ڈال رہی تھی جو اسکول یونیفارم میں بڑے برے منہ بنانے میں مگن تھی۔
"ممی مجھے صرف جوس چاہیے۔" انداز التجائی تھا۔
"جی نہیں صرف جوس نہیں ساتھ میں ٹوس بھی لینا ہے۔" روشنا نے سرزنش کی تھی۔
"گڈ مارننگ ایوری ون۔" وہ جو انشو کے ساتھ مگن تھی، زیان واصف کی آمد سے یکدم الرٹ ہو گئی۔

"Happy birthday to mummy." Saying this, she hugged Roshana. Roshana's eyes suddenly filled with salty tears.
"Thank you, my dear!" Wiping the tears with her palms, she squeezed the tears into herself.
"Mummy, are you crying?" Anshraah asked in surprise.
"These are tears of happiness." Roshana replied with a smile. Zain Wasif looked at the crying girl with strange eyes. Placing the tea mug on the dining table, he stood up and completely ignored them both and went towards the porch.
"Daddy, look what I brought for mummy. Come here, please." Anshraah said to Zain in a pleading tone.
"Son, show your mummy the gift. I have to leave for a business dinner right now. I can't be late even for a minute. God bless." He moved towards his car, waving to Anshraah. While Anshraah was left with sadness in her eyes after seeing him.
Roshana's heart wanted to dedicate all her happiness to this lovely girl. This was the purpose of her life, all her happiness was associated with Anshoo. Seeing Anshoo's sad face, she felt very angry with Zain Wasif. Holding Anshoo's hand, she sat down on the sofa and started opening the gift brought by Anshraah in front of her. Anshraah became happy to see him opening the gift. She immediately put on the wristwatch brought by Anshoo.
"Mummy! You are very good." Anshoo, resting his head on Roshana's lap, said innocently.
"Who did you go with to get this gift?" Roshana asked very gently, running her hand through her hair.
"On my way back from school, I told the driver uncle that he had taken me." Anshoo replied simply.
"Son, there's no need to go like this anymore. Whenever you want to go somewhere, tell me, I'm here for you." Roshana said the last sentence with great sadness.
"Mummy, don't you smell burning?" Anshu wrinkled her nose. Roshana made Anshu sit on the sofa and immediately went towards the kitchen. The lovingly made pizza was in a bad condition. It looked like it had just come out of a coal mine. Roshana and Anshrah laughed spontaneously as they took it out of the baking tray.
"Anshrah, take this." Roshana was pouring toss into Anshrah's plate, who was busy making big evil faces in her school uniform.
"Mummy, I just want juice." The tone was pleading.
"No, not just juice, I want to take toss with me too." Roshana reprimanded.
"Good morning, every one." She, who was busy with Anshu, suddenly became alerted by the arrival of Zain Wasif.
