Alif Allah Chanbe Di Boti Man Vich Murshid Lai Ho

Nafi Athbat Da Pani Maliya Har Rag Har Jai Ho

(The name of Allah begins with Alif, my Murshid planted the pen of Chambeli (love of Allah) in my heart. I watered this plant with the water of Nafi Athbat (Negativity: La Ilaha, Affirmation: Illa Allah) and its fragrance settled in every vein and fiber of my body.)

Like every day, that morning too, Gamo Mashki's loud voice was echoing like the crackling of coal far away in the atmosphere of Zhok Jivan. He had started reciting the words of Haq Bahu. Like every day after dawn, Gamo would tie his musket to the spinning wheel at the village well and throw it into the well with great enthusiasm.

If you meet your feet and do not get pain, oh feet, what should you do

If you do not get growth from the mentor who was there, what should you do

(Do not believe in such a mentor who meets your feet and does not get pain

What should you do with the mentor who does not get growth from the mentor)

The well's spinning wheel was spinning and the rope wrapped around it was loosening from the weight of the musket and Gamo was spinning the wheel even faster, reciting the words of Hazrat Sultan Bahu with great enthusiasm and he had reached another place. He did not know the Quran or Hadith, all he knew was the words of Haq Bahu which he had memorized by listening to his father. In his childhood, his parents had once taught him the Quranic rules and even before his first lesson, his father's death gave Ghulam Muhammad a waterskin in place of a lesson, which was bigger than his height. And he became a Gamu Mashki from Ghulam Muhammad and he took this job on himself with great joy. He was a true Pashti Mashki... His father also used to do the same job and he too used to go to the village wells with his father from childhood...
